A Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) was organized for the students of Grades I to X and the little toddlers of Pre-Primary for the first time at Mayoor School Jaipur to review and discuss the performance of students in their first formative examinations. The meeting provided a valuable platform for parents and teachers to interact regarding students’ academic progress and overall development. The PTM began with a Safe Session for parents conducted by Ms. Deepti Shankar to sensitize them towards the school environment and reinforce their roles and responsibilities as parents. The session addressed parental concerns and emphasized the importance of hygiene, discipline, cleanliness, and positive school practices among students. The interactive session strengthened the bond between parents and teachers while familiarizing them with the school’s ethics, values, and norms. The PTM proved to be informative and engaging, promoting collaborative efforts for the holistic development of every child.
Mayoor School Jaipur organized an exciting Star Gazing Activity for students from Grades I to XI before the commencement of summer breaks. The event combined astronomy, creativity, sports, and cultural activities, promoting experiential learning and teamwork among students. Students of Grades I and II enjoyed a Planetarium Show, while Grades III to XI participated in Night Sky Observation sessions under the open sky. The camp also included engaging activities such as Ghoomar and Western Dance Workshops, swimming, games, diya making, and a movie screening. Students enthusiastically explored stars, planets, and constellations through guided observation sessions. The following morning featured more recreational and creative activities before breakfast and departure. The event was successfully conducted under the guidance of teachers and activity incharges, leaving students inspired by the wonders of space and the joy of collaborative learning.
Mayoor School Jaipur successfully hosted the fourth consecutive season of its much-awaited Inter-School STEM Competition, bringing together young innovators from 22 schools, including 17 offline participants and 5 schools joining online from across the globe. Students from Grades 5 to 9 enthusiastically participated in the event, showcasing creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills through an exciting engineering challenge. Under the guidance of STEM mentor Mr. Abhinav, participants were tasked with designing and creating innovative footwear using everyday materials such as newspapers, masking tape, and packets of colours to add vibrant and designer elements to their creations. The challenge encouraged students to think critically, work collaboratively, and apply practical STEM concepts in a fun and engaging manner. The competition witnessed an impressive display of imagination and engineering skills as students crafted footwear that was not only creative and stylish but also strong, durable, and comfortable. The event was judged by an esteemed panel comprising Dr. Sambaditya Raj, Deputy Director at Amity School of Fashion Technology, and Mr. Antony Kumar Boity, Head at the Amity School of Architecture. The judges appreciated the participants’ innovative approaches and shared valuable insights on the functionality, durability, design, and comfort of the footwear created by the students. The winners were felicitated with certificates, exciting prizes, and a special trophy in recognition of their outstanding performances. The event concluded on a high note, celebrating innovation, collaboration, and experiential learning while reinforcing the importance of STEM education in nurturing future-ready minds.
Mother’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Mayoor School Jaipur. Mothers of Early Years I, II, III and Grades I & II participated in a joyful Fireless Cooking Competition with their children, preparing creative and delicious dishes together. The event was judged by Ms. Sukhpreet Kaur and Ms. Rishika Duggar on creativity, taste, presentation, children’s involvement, and the “X-factor.” A special cultural programme added charm to the celebration, with students presenting lively dances, songs, and heartfelt messages for their mothers. A Scouts and Guides session for Grades V–IX focused on discipline, confidence, and leadership. Led by NCC cadet Mr. Prem Singh Rathore, students practiced drill basics like standees and attention position with dedication. They also learned proper uniform wearing—scarf, cap, belt, and shoes—and the correct way to salute with “Jai Hind,” fostering pride and respect. The session enhanced posture, confidence, and discipline, helping students carry themselves as responsible individuals and future representatives of the nation.
Mayoor School Jaipur proudly hosted its first Inter-School Group Dance Competition on International Dance Day, welcoming participation from 10 schools across Jaipur. Titled “Scientix Motion,” the event was uniquely themed around the fusion of science and dance—creating a platform where logic meets creativity and learning comes alive through movement. More than a competition, it was a celebration of curiosity, innovation, and experiential learning. Performances were evaluated on theme interpretation, creativity, choreography, expression, integration of science and art, and overall impact. Each presentation was energetic, thought-provoking, and deeply aligned with the theme, making the judges’ task truly challenging. After an intense and inspiring showcase, Tagore International School secured the first position, followed by Jayshree Periwal Global School in second place and Sanskar School in third. Chairman Sir applauded all participants for their outstanding performances that brought joy and inspiration to the audience. The event concluded on a high note, with all participants receiving certificates and leaving with cherished memories of a truly unique and enriching experience.
An Inter-House Collage Making Competition was organized for Grades I–XI (Categories: I–II, III–V, VI–XI) on the theme Earth Day, aiming to spread awareness about protecting our planet and conserving resources. Students enthusiastically created beautiful collages with inspiring messages, showcasing creativity and responsibility towards Mother Earth. Working in teams house-wise, they expressed their ideas effectively on chart sheets. The event reflected teamwork, creativity, unity, and love for the environment. Overall, it was a great success, inspiring everyone to work towards a greener and healthier planet.
Students of grades X, XI presented a well-organized special assembly on International Dance Day and Heritage Day. It began with the school prayer, Thought of the Day, and national and international news. An engaging Newsahoot Quiz and a cultural song performance highlighted the richness of our heritage. An insightful podcast on “Cultural Heritage and Its Relevance Today” emphasized the importance of preserving traditions, followed by a graceful Kathak dance performance. Principal Sir felicitated SOF achievers with medals, appreciated the participants, shared upcoming events, and announced Prateek Sharma as the Head Boy. The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, celebrating unity and national pride.
The My Good School Alliance Retreat (MGS Retreat), in collaboration with Mayoor School Jaipur, was successfully organised in the school premises with participation from 12 schools across the country. The Good Schools Alliance (GSA) promotes the values of “Joy of Learning” and “Joy of Giving,” aiming to build a connected and inclusive community through Service, Skill, Sport, and Study. The retreat focused on the 3R’s—Reading, Reflection, and Relationships—providing students with a holistic learning experience. The four-day camp included enriching book reading sessions conducted by eminent authors like Ms. Bhairvi Jani and Mr. Jugjiv Singh, where students explored excerpts from inspiring works such as Highway to Swades. Each day began with engaging sports activities including basketball, badminton, swimming, tennis, and indoor games like chess and carrom. A special art session by Prenita Dutt introduced students to creative techniques using various art mediums. Interactive sessions by INME encouraged teamwork, critical thinking, and emotional awareness. Students also enjoyed an educational excursion to City Palace, experiencing its rich heritage and architectural grandeur. The retreat featured a vibrant talent show where students showcased their skills through music, dance, skits, and cultural presentations. The closing ceremony included an insightful session on financial literacy led by Mr. Manoj Kumar (Executive Director, SEBI), Mr. Venkat Chalasani (CEO, AMFI), and Mr. Suryakant Sharma (Sr. Consultant, AMFI), emphasizing the importance of financial planning and investment. The event concluded on a positive note, fostering unity, learning, and inspiration, while opening new avenues for future generations.
The opening assembly for the 4th session at Mayoor School Jaipur began with vibrant energy, setting a positive tone for the academic year. It featured a prayer, an inspiring thought, and the Fact of the Day, encouraging curiosity and enthusiasm for learning. Students actively participated in a GK quiz, and new teachers were formally introduced, fostering a sense of community. As a special gesture, parents received a group photograph along with the result sheet, serving as a cherished keepsake of their child’s class experience. The meeting marked a meaningful conclusion to the academic year, reinforcing the bond between parents, teachers, and students.
A memorable trip to Himachal Pradesh was organized by Mayoor School Jaipur for students of Grades III to IX, blending experiential learning with fun beyond the classroom. Students enjoyed healthy meals while developing life skills and creating lasting memories. Activities included rappelling, jumaring, river crossing, trekking, map reading, and cooking with limited resources, along with nature exploration and team-building exercises. Evenings featured lively campfires with music and dance. Students also learned survival skills like knot-tying and tent-making. Republic Day at Mayoor School Jaipur was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The day began with bright sunshine on the cricket ground, where children bloomed like flowers in a garden. Students, teachers, staff members, and GIT College students gathered together to celebrate the 77th Republic Day in unity. The National Flag was unfurled by Chairperson Ms. Shivani Kandoi, followed by the proud singing of the National Anthem. An inspiring speech by the Chairman motivated everyone to serve the nation through cleanliness and helping the needy. Patriotic songs and graceful dance performances filled the air with national pride. The colours of patriotism spread joy and energy all around. The celebration concluded with the distribution of sweets, leaving everyone happy and proud.
Students of Mayoor School Jaipur enthusiastically observed the Army Day Parade , which stood as a magnificent display of true patriotism, discipline, and camaraderie of the Indian Armed Forces . The event showcased advanced defence capabilities including missiles such as Akash, BrahMos, and Agni , along with modern arms, weapons, radar systems, drones, and the latest military technology. The celebration featured an impressive air show with paragliders, helicopters, and fighter jets, along with synchronized parades, march pasts, drills, cultural dance performances, a thrilling dog show, and an exclusive bike show highlighting remarkable balancing skills and stunts. Filled with pride and excitement, students raised patriotic slogans like “ Bharat Mata Ki Jai ” and “ Vande Mataram ”, making the event a truly grand and unforgettable celebration of national spirit and patriotism.
The third season of the Annual Sports Day at Mayoor School Jaipur was celebrated with great enthusiasm, bringing together students, teachers, and parents in a vibrant display of sportsmanship and teamwork. The event began with the melodious Mayoor song and a colorful contemporary dance highlighting the importance of sports. The Sports Meet was formally declared through a torch-bearing ceremony, with the torch lighting accompanied by the Honorable Chairman Sir, followed by the Principal Sir declaring the meet open and the sports oath led by the Sports Captain. Energetic PT and Surya Namaskar displays showcased discipline and fitness. Excitement continued with a dynamic karate performance by Vian Jain of Grade V Orchid, followed by various track events including sprints, hurdles, relays, shuttle runs and combined-grade races. Parent races added special charm, with enthusiastic participation from mothers and fathers. The winners were awarded medals, certificates, and sweets. The day concluded as a memorable celebration of perseverance, energy, and teamwork, appreciated by all present.
The annual function at Mayoor School Jaipur was a memorable evening of entertainment and inspiration. It began with a warm welcome to Chief Guest Dr. Subodh Agarwal, IAS, and the lighting of the lamp with blessings from Goddess Saraswati. The program featured a vibrant ensemble and choir performance, followed by an inspiring address by the Chairman. Outstanding scholars were felicitated by the chief guest. The highlight was the drama "Crowns, Dagger and Shadows," a tribute to Shakespeare’s works—Macbeth, Hamlet, King Lear, and The Merchant of Venice—interwoven with magical dance performances. The event conveyed a powerful message: to shape society and create new horizons, we must not fear darkness but aim to shine within it. Control over emotions and courage are key to overcoming challenges through hard work and honesty. A behind-the-scenes video and light refreshment was enjoyed by all, and the evening concluded with a group photo and the national anthem, leaving everyone inspired.
